Lisa Suguitan Melnick, M.A., is a third generation Filipinx American of Ilokano and Cebuano roots. A writer/author, she considers story sharing one of the most expansive ways to connect oneself with others. As a writing instructor with over thirty-five years of experience, Lisa masterfully guides fledgling writers of all ages to discover their own unique voice.
Also, in the field of health and wellness, Lisa holds Certification as a Sound and Music Practitioner from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and facilitates workshops with sound and movement. Her offerings reflect awareness that one's own wellness positively impacts a community's collective wellness.
