I need a moment

...to move aside the, let's see...one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixten, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen... books set right here beside my Mouse so that I can make three neat stacks of my students' 1) last grammar test,2) the papers they wrote this week, and 3)Thursday's homework assignment.

...to remove the "See it in Tru-Brite HD Display and Backlit Keyboard" sticker from my new laptop which replaced the one that crashed three weeks ago.

...to write that piece I've wanted to write about Filbookfest 3 which came and went as it was meant to do.... with the feeling that we who were there were the Chosen, blessed and inspired by writers from places other than ourselves, whom we might have never met had it not been for October 2-4, 2015 at the San Francisco Main Public Library.

...to change out the wall socket near the stove so that I can move the toaster back to its place and plug it in instead of having it blocking the coffee maker while it shares the one working outlet.

...to hang up the two jackets and wadded up pair of socks that I threw on the chair behind my desk after running my dog for fear that if I walked to the closet to properly put them away, I might discover some laundry that needed doing, or dog that neeeded a cookie, or plant that needed spritzing, or tooth that needed flossing, or dustball that needed gathering,

...to celebrate winning the Plaridel Award for Best Entertainment Story. Wow, "Maseg: An Artistic Tempest" was a very fun piece to write.

...to try out my new website here for the very first time since it was launched.... Wha-a-a-t?
